ISSUE 19 - VOL 2
The feature on SLEEP in this issue looks at why so many Australians are suffering from sleep deprivation. We take a close look at sleep apnoea and insomnia, the hormone melatonin, different types of mattresses, and energy imprinting. ‘Life Without Aggression’ by Sonam Rigzin and Maureen Fallon describes how we might deal with anger and aggression from a Buddhist perspective. Neuro-Linguistic Kinesiology (NLK) is one of our feature articles in this issue which describes this relatively new technique, assessment and treatment protocols, and health problems it assists including exhaustion, insomnia, digestive and anxiety disorders, and behavioural issues such as co-dependency.
We are very pleased to showcase a very special article article on Building Community using Aboriginal Law by Karl-Erik Sveiby (Knowledge Management Consultant) and Tex Skulthorpe (painter, educator and custodian of traditional Aboriginal stories). Their research suggests modern-day society may learn a lot more than we think from Aboriginal community. Anne Matheson believes ill-health to be a coded message from our higher consciousness telling us how we are progressing with issues in our lives. Blockages and misalignments she says, are pointing out that something is in the way of that progress and good health. Giovanni Ebono diagnoses our Mother Earth’s (Gaia) disease and the virus that has invaded her ecosystems and vital organs.
