The thing that works about this book mostly, is the pictures. Sometimes I think we can use words ‘until the cows come home’ but it is images that we more quickly respond to. In the case of back pain, the author Dr Chris Chin has very carefully put this book together so if you suffer from back pain, you can out find out why, you can find out if the exercises you are doing are harmful, you can see how back injuries occur during sport, you will find out about occupation hazards (which are many), and you can learn about posture and movement, breathing, and how to avoid bending or twisting at the waist. Dr Chris Chin is a General Practitioner, a Fellow of the Australian Medical Acupuncture College, and a member of Sports Medicine Australia. If you suffer from back pain, this book is very worthwhile reading.
