How A Man Loves A Woman - Secrets of Success is an interesting book about what the writer, Steve Gunther, has learnt about women. Here, he shares some of his secrets and in doing so, suggests that whilst men may never really understand women, they might be able to grasp what works and doesn’t work. His first strong message to men is "if you have heard a mate or (yourself) saying ‘we had such a good relationship, and then she just upped and left’, then you can be 100% certain that is only 50% of the story. Something was wrong, until it was too late". This book provides men with some very good tips on how to pick up signs that all is not right before it’s too late, and how to do something about it. Steve says "It’s also about being proactive and preventing some of the problems from developing in the first place". He also says that as a therapist, the book reflects some of the frustrations he has had expressed to him by women. From a women’s perspective, I give him full marks for getting across some of the real issues.
