There is something so pure about Chinese music. This CD just epitomises purity. The music just takes you to a different place. Words I came up with while I was listening included peaceful, haunting, light, refreshing and sensuous. The simplicity of the sound of the Chinese bamboo flute (dee tze in Chinese) gives you such a pristine experience – I just love it.  On the CD cover it says that over the past 2000 years the power of expression of the Chinese flute has been continuously improved, especially its timbre which is sonorous, bright and smooth – and this is certainly evident. This is definitely a personal favourite.
