Artist: Richard Goldsworthy
Richard Goldsworthy has chosen the solo piano as his instrument to reflect how he feels and
relates to the world. Born in the tropical north of Australia and bought up in the rainforest,
Richard draws the inspiration for his music mostly from the unique beauty of the Australian
landscape. However after spending several months travelling and performing in Japan, Richard
composed Silk, the fourth CD in his series of “Soundscapes for Solo Piano”. Silk is a perfect
accompaniment to life’s special moments such as a candlelit dinner, a quiet time spent alone,
or a rainy day with a good book.
