Album: Spirit Trail

Artist: Ric Bennett

The diversity of music on Spirit Trail will ensure that it is enjoyed by a wide audience. The album has been inspired by some of the people, places, events and memories that have affected the producer Ric’s life in a profound way. Tracks include for example; ‘A Tarkine Sunrise’ – the Tarkine being a beautiful wilderness area in Tasmania, Australia; ‘A Cry in the Ocean’ – an up-close-and-personal experience with whales in Moreton Bay, Queesland, Australia; and ‘I Remember That Day’ – a track that reflects Ric’s feelings concerning the Wounded Knee Creek massacre in which over 300 Native Americans (who had surrendered under a white flag of truce) were slaughtered. There is no way that you can listen to this music without being moved. I found Spirit Trail to be an experience – not to be missed
